
Launch of the new website Kiezebrink Nordic
Kiezebrink finished the major project and launched the new website to provide the best service to their customers.

Kiezebrink finished the major project and launched the new website to provide the best service to their customers.

Due to the increased cooperation and common goals, it is decided to start building a Kiezebrink Europe, which MDAPS is now part of and has therefore changed its name to Kiezebrink Nordic. This also includes other departments such as BE/FR and UK.

The space again became too small, so an extension was added. Here the capacity was expanded with 40 tons of freezer space and some general storage space.

The old premises became too small so Martin took over the family farm so that the company could expand both insect breeding and storage capacity to support the needs of customers. There was room for no less than 100 tons of dry food and 30 tons of frozen food

Zoo in Aalborg requested a better mix of hay and herbs for their turtles, so work began on this brand. Testudo Herbs was the first, but many new varieties have been added to demand from customers who were missing something they couldn't find in what was on the market today. Zoo Line has since grown and continues to develop diets on request when customers can't find what they are missing in our otherwise wide range of products.

Martin hired his first employee who started in insect production and quickly became part of the company. He is today the daily operations manager.

Martin contacted Kiezebrink Holland and other suppliers in connection with a collaboration and import of their products at the request of the Zoo he had taken in as customers. This increased the selection of products dramatically and Martin started contacting new potential customers, which resulted in rapid growth in the customer portfolio

The sales of cockroaches became so large that Martin founded his first company, MD-APS. He then expanded to include other insect species and some frozen goods such as mice and rats. He quickly got the first zoos as customers, who now asked for other product groups.

Martin had reptiles as a hobby and bred several different reptiles such as green Chinese water dragons, frilled lizard, bearded dragons, and marmosets. The insects gradually became an expensive item, which is why Martin chose to start his own breeding of dubia cockroaches. There were quickly too many, so he drove to a pet store and exchanged the dubia for items he could use in his terrariums. After a while, there were too many again, so more pet stores came along.
