Plant eating reptiles will consume 1-4% of bodyweight per day, although food intake will vary due to environmental temperature, activity, and life stage. Diet may be fed dry, soaked, or mixed with greens and/or salad. It may also be used as the plant-based portion of a diet for omnivorous species. Feed along with fresh, clean water. Appropriate supplemental food items should be provided to your reptile. Produce should consist primarily of leafy greens, with fruit and high-sugar vegetables limited to 5% or less of total diet to minimize GI tract disturbances. Offer vegetables and greens low in oxalate like kale, turnip greens and squash. Thoroughly wash feeding and/or watering bowls on a regular basis. It is always good practice to wash hands thoroughly after feeding and/or handling animals. Not for human consumption.
